Camps and SeminarsCamps: Full Partners Farm offers several types of summer, winter and spring camp programs for all levels of rider. The day camp programs offer basic skills with riding, grooming, safety and handling of the horses and ponies, and other fun classes like arts and crafts, field games, and horse and equipment management. Students from 5 years and up are accepted into the day camp program and lessons are taught in groups of 2-4 per lesson. Our trainers are happy to work with beginners on a lunge line, up to intermediate riders on the flat and over fences. Great convenience, and we have starter packages that will save you money and equip you for camp ! Advanced CampOur Advanced camp program is a one of a kind program that teaches upper level riding skills, all USEF equitation tests, rules of all the different kinds of collegiate riding programs, gymnastics over fences and cavaletti, and basic flat work and training skills. Full Partners Farm offers a one of a kind advanced and college prep camp program each summer. Riders who are interested in garnering a college scholarship for their equestrian, work with us through out the summer to polish their skills so that they can display their abilities for prospective coaches. This boot camp type program offers two to three riding lessons per day, on both the personally owned horse or pony of the rider/camper, and on our talented and well trained school horses. Riders that attend the camp for more than a week each summer are also taught to break, back and train young horses, and lunge and long line the animals that they have been assigned. Unmounted afternoon classes are offered to all advanced students on topics such as course design, USEF rules and regulations, judging, tack cleaning and repair, trailer and hauling safety, correct dress and turnout for horse shows, and grooming and conditioning, including grooming, bandaging, hoof packing and poulticing, show clipping and body clipping and mane pulling. Campers come to our program from all over the USA and from places as far away as Canada, Mexico, Europe and the Islands Riders have the opportunity to not only work with a young horse or pony that is assigned to them for their tenure at camp, but also work with our highly trained school horses to further their riding education. Campers hone their advanced riding skills, and are able to learn about training, physiology, choosing a college or university and finding scholarship money. We also go on outside field trips that include horse shows, trips to the movies, and the local springs, as well as Florida amusement parks. Boarding spaces are available on a limited basis Twice a year Full Partners Farm offers a two week training session for young trainers. All aspects of the horse business are covered, from legal forms, riding lesson structure and progression, training young horses, show rules and regulations, correct dress for lessons, clinics and show, judging, course design, grooming and conditioning of the competition horse, feeding, stable design and building, and packing and preparing for shows away from the home stables. Riding lessons are given two to three times daily, dealing with flat work, correct flat work, including warm up and cool down, gymnastics and over fences course work. Riders who are interested in our special camps and clinics can fill out our registration paperwork, include a deposit check and send their application to us to enroll. All spaces are filled on a first come, first served basis. Spaces are limited for the weeks that we offer, so that we can allow time for all attendees, so get your paperwork in EARLY! Arts and Crafts, safety, riding lessons, stable management, course design and judging are just some of the courses that are offered during our camp.
